Good variety of excellent Silk products

India is the number one producer of silk in the world for which there is a huge demand both in the national as well as international markets. Hastashilpi, an organization established in Mysore, has successfully exhibited and displayed Pure Silk, Silk Cotton & Silk products throughout India. The intension of the organization is to make accessible and attain the products directly to the customers, without the moderator to the weavers and artisans.

For the 3rd time, the Silk fair is held at Chennai on the occasion of Deepavali, named 'Silk India-2014’. The fair is being held at Valluvar Kottam, Nungambakkam, Chennai for 10 days till 12th October 2014. It is open daily from10.30 am to 8.30 pm. Various Silk Saree Weavers, Handloom Clusters and Silk Co-operative Societies are exhibited. As all the products at the Silk Mela are being sold by directly by the manufacturers to the consumers they are available at reasonable prices. All are welcome.
