Road widening and flyover improvement work

To clear hurdles for facilitating the Anna Arch flyover project, road widening work has been done along Poonamallee High Road. The road widening and flyover improvement works are going on and needs to gain more momentum. When completed, the new road and flyover will greatly benefit residents and businesses in Anna Nagar Third Avenue.

State Highways Department is constructing a flyover and widening parts of Poonamallee High Road and Nelson Manickam Road so as to improve the overall traffic flow near Anna Arch signal junction. Flyover pillars have been constructed along Anna Nagar Third Avenue and parts of Poonamallee High Road and work is on to complete the much awaited project.
