National Level Seminar on Financial Strategies for Sustainable Development

A National Level Seminar on Financial Strategies for Sustainable Development was organized by the Department of Humanities at Valliammal College for Women on the 20th of September 2014. The Seminar was inaugurated by Prof.K.Shankaraiah, Head, Department of Commerce, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Dr.S.Gurusamy, Professor and Head Department of Commerce, University of Madras, graced the occasion. Prof.K.Shankaraiah spoke about the need to made use of the essentials and natural resources in the era of industrialization. The seminar concluded with the valedictory address by Prof.Ramesh Subramanian, Faculty, IFMR, Chennai.

A souvenir was released bearing an ISBN number on the occasion where all the proceedings of the presentations were published. The book was released by Prof.K.Shankaraiah and Dr.S.Gurusamy. It was received by the Chairman Thiru.A.P.Maikandan and Principal Dr.T.V.S.Padmaja.
