Vasantham, a special school based at Mogappair East has been in the service of special children since 1989. As part of their silver jubilee celebrations a science exhibition was conducted in the school premises from 31st July to 2nd August 2014. Dr.Kumaran Director of Srinivasa Eye clinic and Mrs Anitha Kumaran Director of Little Hearts play home inaugurated the science exhibition. At the exhibition students displayed various working models and explained concepts by various experiments covering subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Zoology, Food and Nutrition.
Functions of the human body, periscope, principles of magnetism, 3D experiments and various interesting creative exhibits were displayed and explained. Mr.Sreenivasan, Officer for Tiruvallur District differently abled who had visited the exhibition admired not only the efforts taken by teachers and parents but also the manner in which the children explained the scientific principles in a simple manner.
