Anna Nagar needs a Fire and Rescue Station

J.J.Nagar and Ambattur Estate have got a fire and rescue station. Recently a new fire station was inaugurated at Madhavaram. But the busy residential and commercial Anna Nagar neighbourhood has no fire and rescue station to attend to any fire calls quickly. 

There was proposal for setting up a fire and rescue station at Anna Nagar, but till now no concrete steps have been taken by the Government officials. Setting up a fire station at a suitable spot in Anna Nagar will be on great help to fight fire mishaps if any occurs around Anna Nagar East, Chintamani, Anna Nagar West Extension and Thirumangalam area. By Elwyn
