Encouraging youngsters to safeguard Nature

Tree Bank Environment team held a children’s plant seed collection camp. During the event about 27 kgs of Neem, Bhadam, Noni, Gulmugar, Naval and Pethodia seeds were collected. The children will be taught to preserve the plant seeds to grow it into green plants. Team leader C. Arun Kumar, Secretary: S. Nivetha, S. Vicky, S.Purusothaman, S.Varalakshmi, S.Madesh and six more children participated in the programme and collected plant seeds. Trees represent life on this vast earth.

They should be protected at any cost in this era of urbanization & industrialization and global warming. Trees are importance for purifying the air, as natural resources, maintaining the ecological balance, preventing soil erosion and as medicines. Trees also provide nutrients to the soil etc. Tree Bank has been created with a lot of care with sole objective to maintain or improve the quality of life and the natural world around by preserving, protecting and planting more trees. The seed collection camp has held for children to understand the importance of trees and benefits of trees.
