Educational Scholarships distributed to Children

Education Scholarships were distributed to multiple marginalized children for the academic year 2014-2015 on 21st June 2014.The programme was organized by Indian Community Welfare Organization ( ICWO) with the support of Village Service Trust and M.R.Pratap Public Charitable Trust. The function was inaugurated by Hon’ Justice Dr.T.N.Vallinaygam, Judge Lok Adalat, Madras High Court. Dr.M.Baskaran, President, ICWO welcomed the gathering. Speaking on the occasion Ms.Arushi Kakkar, Manager, HR. ITC Limited Educational & Stationary Products Business, thanked ICWO for giving an opportunity to be a part of a noble cause. 

She appreciated the work of ICWO. Mr.M.Baskaran, President of ICWO, said that education is very important for a child. Finally, he wished the children all the best for their future. Mr.A.J.Hariharan, Director ICWO stated that the educational scholarship expects the children to utilize the opportunity successfully for their excellent career. The opportunity will help the marginalized children to fulfill the dreams by completing their education and obtain a suitable job.
