The State Highways Department sign board at Padi has been widely appreciated by the vehicle riders. Similar type of sign boards like the one near Padi flyover along MTH Road has been installed in various parts of Chennai city. As part of the city beautification measures, Chennai Corporation has also installed bright coloured display boards at Anna Nagar Western Extension providing directions to the road users and at important junctions.
Latest traffic signage’s name boards have been installed on bus route roads and traffic junctions by Chennai Corporation. Both Highways Department and Chennai Corporation has recently installed new reflector type direction boards at busy traffic junctions. The retro-reflective display boards giving names of the roads and directions to landmarks are helpful to the motorists and tourists visiting Chennai city
