Chennai Corporation takes good care of median plants

Watering is important to keep the plants hydrated and cool. Green plants along the center road median of Anna Nagar Second Avenue are regularly watered by a Chennai Corporation water tanker. Chennai Corporation official sources stated that centre medians are built with granite stones and random rubble masonry in all important roads with the middle portion planted with greenery. 

All the Centre medians in major bus routes are provided with granite planter boxes and beautified with greenery. Plants to provide greenery and reduce air pollution are planted along the center medians. All the greenery developed by the Corporation of Chennai is watered every day and ensured that they sustain and grow. Water tankers are used for watering the plants in parks, traffic islands and centre medians.
