A hurdle for road users

The middle section of the road in front of ‘C’ Sector, 11th Street, Anna Nagar Western Extn, has been dug up and it is causing a hurdle for vehicle and pedestrian movement. Roads dug up for development and improvement works could be risky for both pedestrians and motorists, particularly at night. 

Pedestrians are found walking precariously along the dug up space. Cars find it difficult to negotiate the stretch while turning. Better safety measures by the concerned authorities will ensure good safe surroundings for road users. The residents look forward for early completion of the work and the dug up spot getting blacktopped.
