M. Balagurunatha Aravindan (Founder-Thai Cancer Support Trust, based at No- 7/10, Baragavi Apartment, 6th Avenue, Ashok Nagar had adopted 2 inmates of RMD Pain Palliative Care Trust located at No- 13, Raghavaiah Road, T. Nagar for providing food, medicine and other amenities for the last three months. He also donated Rs.12,000 cheque to Dr. Republica Sridhar (Managing Director, RMD Trust) on Jan. 7.
Aravindan said that Thai Cancer Support Trust is a non-profit organization registered with Govt of Tamil Nadu was started on May 2012 with the noble objective of the providing the financial support to the poor cancer patients irrespective.
He said that Trust was started in the memory of his mother K. Rajeswari who had battled with rectum cancer for three years and reached god’s feet. Aravindan said that other trustees are K. Prakash and Shri Raajkhanth who are actively involved and providing the valuable inputs in making this trust reaching and helping more needy people. He said that Trust have been consistently helping the poor cancer patients and organizations with the support of the noble donors since its inception.
He said that Trust is ready to support poor cancer patients with help of donors and philanthropist. Aravindhan and other trustees are working in a private firm and rendering their service after office hours.
