Darts Tournament at Chennai

Darts Corp based at Chakarapani Street, West Mambalam will be hosting the world’s most prestigious youth darts tournament - PDC world youth darts tournament- Asia qualifiers in India at Accord Metropolitan Hotel, G. N. Chetty Road, T. Nagar on 24^th, 25^th and 26^th February 2014.

Venu Pillai (President- Darts Corp and Darts International Player cum coach) said that the players from 30 Asian countries will be participating in the event and it will be a qualifier tournament for the Finals that will be held in April 2014 at Reading , UK. Two finalists will qualify to participate in Reading. 

The tournament carries a total prize money of Rs 2,50,000/-. This tournament is for youth boys in the age group of 16 to 25 years. A winner should be eligible to travel to UK for the finals. Darts Corp is also hosting the first IDIA open 2014, a much awaited tournament with a prize money of Rs 5,00,000/- . The tournament is open to all from ages 12 and above. There is the Team championship, men's Single and Woman's single event. Darts orientation is given free of cost at the Darts Lounge in Kodambakkam for budding enthusiast.
