Fourth Avenue, D-Sector stretch connecting East Main Road and Park Road in Anna Nagar Western Extension has been without street lights for a long time. But soon the stretch will be well illuminated. Mr.P.Vadivel, Secretary of Anna Nagar Western Extension Association has stated that 20 street lights have been sanctioned by Chennai Corporation Zone-7, Ward 88.
Markings for erecting the new street lights at various points along 4th Avenue stretch have been done. The new street lights will be in operation by March 2014. The area residents conveyed their thanks and appreciation to the members of Anna Nagar Western Extension Association and Chennai Corporation for the continuous efforts and measures taken to install street lights.
