New Road Divider Constructed At Koyambedu

In an effort to reduce accidents on the road, the traffic police have been closing of gaps in the median with barricades and installing reflectors.

A new road center divider has been constructed along Kaliamman Koil Street in Koyambedu.

The new divider which is under construction will help in solving the problem of risky crossing of motorists and pedestrians through the median gaps.

Earlier the median was low lying and damaged at many parts. Stray cattle used to sit on the median obstructing traffic movement.

 Today, Kaliamman Koil Street between Virugambakkam and Koyambedu 100 Feet Road has become a busy and congested road in Chennai city. The divider was constructed mainly to check traffic jams.
