Footpaths in the city pose an everyday challenge to pedestrians. But now, the pedestrians and the residents of Anna Nagar East would have a well paved walkway as the footpath is all set for a makeover.
Pedestrian footpaths along Anna Nagar East, near Chintamani signal junction are now being improved by Chennai Corporation under the Chennai City Beautification Development Project. The pedestrian path which is full of mud and stones would soon be replaced with granite slabs.
The area residents are thankful to Chennai Corporation for renovating the old footpaths. Once the footpaths are being laid with proper granite slabs, pedestrians can walk easily especially at night time.
