Chennai City Traffic Police have installed closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras at important road junctions in Chennai city. This is done in order to enhance traffic maintenance and help police book violators.
Motorists while appreciating the modernization drive by Traffic Police request the concerned officials to widen the MTH Road stretches at narrow spots and blacktop the rain battered road surface.
Traffic Police officials have stated that all road junctions along MTH Road in Ambattur Industrial Estate and Padi are fitted with latest zoom digital cameras. Chennai Auto Ancillary Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Company (CAAIIUC) has also erected signboards at various intersections in and around Ambattur Industrial Estate
