17th Main Road Requires Better Traffic Management

Many motorists from Mogappair-Ambattur Industrial Estate Road try to skip 6th Avenue by making an unauthorized U-Turn at 17th Main Road stretch that connects 13th Main Road with 100 Feet Road. This act by the motorists is making the spot chaotic and accident prone. 

The narrow bend witnesses frequent violation of no-entry rules, especially by two wheelers and cars. Traffic Policemen have placed a row of makeshift barricades to discourage criss-crossing, but it has not been much of use. Pedestrians also risk their life while crossing at the junction of 17th Main Road and 100 Feet Road. Let the Traffic Police Department take action to ensure safety of motorists at 17th Main Road corner.
