The continuous downpour on Monday, 21st October 2013 caused traffic snarls in several areas in the city. Many busy roads at Anna Nagar, Mogappair, Thirumangalam and Koyambedu were waterlogged.
Traffic movement on 100 Feet Road, from Koyambedu to Thirumangalam came to a standstill as many parts of the stretch were waterlogged.
Walking was practically impossible for pedestrians at Thirumangalam bus stop near Apollo Flats. On many roads pedestrians had little choice but to walk through waterlogged spots.
