Environmental Programme For Students

Chennai Girls Higher Secondary School,Nungambakkam, celebrated " World Students Day" ( Dr.Abdul Kalam Birth day) on 15.10.2013 in school campus. Dr.Mannar Jawahar Ex.VC , Sri. Jainulabdeen nephew of Dr.Kalam and TV actor Rajendran shared their experience with Dr. Kalam and encouraged the students with blessings. 

The guests recalled their happy moments in during their school days and quoted a few incidents which inspired them. Mullaivanam from TREE BANK along with Dr.Alguperumal, Prof. Loyola College and G.Thangaraj NGC coordinator planted 2 MAGIZHAMBU saplings in the school campus as a part of the "Green Kalam" project.An environmental film on " Kindness kids " was screened for the primary school students along with Ms.Sindhu from CPR Centre as a part of Students day celebrations.The programmes were coordinated by NGC unit of the school with youth Exnora international.
