Trophy Winners

The BVK Chennai Open Darts Championship organized by Tamil Nadu Darts Association took place on 7th and 8th September 2013 . The finals was held on 9th September 2013 at Park Sheraton

Hotel.Anandan was awarded by trophy and Rs. 50,000 cash award. In the women’s category Sharvaishnavi (Salem, Tamil Nadu) beat Rashmi Somani.

 She received trophy and Rs.20,000 cash award. S. Sarvanaraj (President) and Venu Pillai (Secretary) both National Darts Players Stated that overall Rs.3 lakhs cash award distributed to the winners in the 9 categories it includes Men's singles, Women singles, Youth boys singles, youth girls singles, men’s doubles, mixed doubles, team foursome, draw threesome and handicap singles.

They said that Rs. 3 lakh cash prize is the highest cash prizes in the India for Darts championship. Venu said that Association started with an objective to promote the game of darts in schools, colleges, clubs, corporate offices and other venues as a sport for relaxation and to improve analytical and strategic thinking together with concentration.
