In a bid to create awareness on the growing number of suicide cases and the need to curb them, students of Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women, Anna Nagar took out a rally as part of an awareness programme on suicide prevention.
The awareness rally was organised by National Service Scheme Unit-1, Youth Red Cross in association with Sneha Suicide Prevention Centre. The rally was held to create awareness on the need to prevent suicides.
Many people, especially youngsters commit suicide either owing to failure in examinations, personal and family problems. The college students rally with banners and meaningful placards and slogans had brought out a positive attitude towards life.
