The Plight Of Santham Colony Residents

The streets and lanes in and around Santham Colony in Anna Nagar Western Extension always get waterlogged when it rains causing inconvenience to the colony residents. The stagnant muddy water and slush at Santham Colony 17th Street is causing inconvenience to pedestrians and motorists.

Most of the colony residents had stated that this problem has been going on for along time and a permanent solution is needed at the earliest.

The colony residents want the civic authorities to blacktop the battered roads and ensure an effective storm water drainage system. Let the concerned officials Chennai Corporation Zone 7 officials take necessary steps to make Santham Colony roads smooth and free from rain water stagnation.

Let the concerned civic authorities also take measures to solve the rain water logging problem which occurs at Santham Colony streets during the rainy season.
