New CCTV Facility Installed At Retteri Junction

As a public safety measure, many important roads and traffic intersections in Chennai city are brought under CCTV surveillance. 

Recently new hi-tech close circuit television cameras have been installed at the Retteri traffic signal junction. 

Retteri junction is always congested with heavy movement of vehicles going towards Koyambedu, Redhills. Madhavaram and Perambur. 

The camera footage collected from the network of CCTV cameras is closely monitored by a Traffic police man inside a control room situated close to the signal junction. 

The CCTV facility was installed as part of Lions Club International Day Long Projects by Lions Club of Chennai KVT Green City.
