Entertainment Programme At Koyambedu Jai Nagar Park

To mark the centenary celebrations of Indian Cinema, musical performances, entertainment and cultural programmes are held in the evenings at Chennai Corporation parks in the city. 

On Sunday,22nd September, an entertainment programme by performed by Ventriloquist and humourist Shantha Kumar at Jai Nagar Park in Koyambedu, opposite CMBT terminus. 

The park wall well decorated with attractive lights and a huge arch at the entrance to mark the occasion. The centenary celebration of Indian Cinema was recently inaugurated by Chief Minister J.Jayalaithaa. The event held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium complex was organized by Government of South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce. Mementoes were presented to honour legendary talented actors, music and film directors and producers.
