The gallery at Iba Arts and Crafts based at Shenoy Nagar was filled with artists and guests to witness the paintings of the Hindu religious icon Ganesha by 25 famous artists.
The function was illuminated by the arrival of Sri Krishna Sweets Mr. M.Murali at the Iba gallery. Sangeetha Saraswathi Padmashri Kalaimamani Smt. Sudha Ragunathan inaugurated the show.
The inaugural event started with prayer by Amrutha Ranjani, Creative Director of Iba Arts and Crafts. Mrs.Sudha Ragunathan, Mr.Murali along with Crazy Mohan, Bagyam Ramasamy(writer) and Maruthi(artist) lit the Kuthuvilakku and inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of K. A.Z.Ranjit, S. Elayaraja, M. Ramasuresh, S. Jayaraj, art director J.K., K. Ramachandran, Mohana Sundaram, interacted with the chief guests. Both Mr. Murali and Mrs. Sudha Ragunathan were delighted to see the unusual array of paintings of the great artists.
The function was grand, divine and very creative. The visitors were amazed by viewing the excellent art works, especially when Ganesha Chathurthi festival celebration is just round the corner.
