Road users have a difficult time driving through 11th Main Road, Anna Nagar stretch especially from 2nd Avenue intersection till Shanthi Colony 4th Avenue junction. The road was dug up for laying storm water drain and carrying out Chennai metro rail work. Though part of the work is over, blacktopping of the dug up section has not been done.
Vehicle riders find it risky to drive along the battered stretch. Pedestrians are finding it inconvenient to cross the road. Let the concerned authorities take steps to blacktop the dup up spots along 11th Main Road so that there could be free and smooth traffic movement and the chances of accidents can be avoided.
