World Photography Day Celebration

The Madras Photography Society’ in association with ‘Jaigopal Garodia Photojournalism Academy’ conducted a photography exhibition at Jaigopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School, Anna Nagar. 

The photo exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest Mrs. G. Vasanth, Head of Visual Communication Department, D.G. Vaishnav College on 19th August 2013.

The event was organized to commemorate the World Photography Day.Ashok Kediaji, Managing Trustee, JGVV Trust and Convenor of Madras Photography Society, welcomed the gathering. G. Vijayakumar, Principal, JGVV Anna Nagar gave an introductory speech. Dr. T.P. Alaganantham, Co-Convenor of Madras Photography Society gave a briefing and presented the report. The photography exhibition was well attended by Madras Photography Society members, public and college students. The Exhibition is open for three days. Certificates were distributed to the member participants. Capt. Bharathi Ramanathan proposed the vote of thanks.
