Free Cancer Screening Camp Conducted At Anna Nagar

Prevention is better cure. Good health awareness and early detection of diseases including cancer at the beginning stages will help to get the best medical treatment results. 

Keeping this in mind, Lions Club of Anna Nagar West Extension in association with Adyar Cancer Institute organised a free cancer screening camp on 29th August 2013 at Guild of Service, Special school premises located at School Road, Anna Nagar. 

The free cancer screening was aimed at spreading the message across Chennai city that cancer is a curable disease, if detected early.

The efforts of Ln.H.Ramesh Kumar, President, Ln.Siva Guru Nathan, Secretary and Ln.Kumar, Treasurer were appreciated in organising such a free health awareness programme in Anna Nagar area. The free cancer screening camp also highlighted the importance of leading healthy lifestyles which could reduce the risk of getting cancer.
