40th Annual Day Celebrations

The 40th Annual Day Celebrations of Jaigopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School, Anna Nagar, Chennai was recently held in the school premises. The chief guest for the function was Shri. Narayan Rao, a freedom fighter. 

He is the Secretary of Jaigopal Garodia National Higher Secondary School and Sitadevi Garodia Hindu Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School, Tambaram. The special guest was Shri.Vishwanath Kedia, Chairman, Great Indian Securities Company Ltd. Shri. Ashok Kediaji, Managing Trustee, JGVV Trust welcomed the gathering. 

A statue of Shri. Jaigopal Garodia, the founder chairman was unveiled by Shri. Viswanath Kedia, a long time associate and a confidante of Philanthropist Shri. Jaigopal Garodia. Shri. G. Vijayakumar, Principal introduced the Chief Guests and presented the School annual report. A total of 197 students received awards. Scholarships were also distributed from the Trust for the deserving students on the occasion. The teachers and staff members were honoured for their meritorious service of 15 years and 25 years by Shri. Ashok Kediaji, Managing Trustee. Smt. Sukanya Baskaran, Vice-Principal and Ms. Uma (Primary HM) compered the programme.
