Renovated And Beautified

The Chennai Corporation Pancharathna Colony Park surrounding Santham Colony and Welcome Colony at East Main Road, Anna Nagar Western Extension has been given a facelift by the civic authorities.

Thanks to the beautification work by the Chennai Corporation, the small park now has a well paved walker’s path, play equipment and new seating facility and a new compound wall.

Chennai Corporation official sources stated that more parks would be developed and created on OSR (open space reservation) lands and other vacant lands available in and around Mogappair and Ambattur.

Chennai Corporation has taken up several measures in beautifying and improving public parks around the city. Many parks has been renovated and redeveloped with water fountains, ornamental light attracting public to use them.
