Farm Fresh Consumer Outlet At Anna Nagar East

Anna Nagar residents are now getting fresh farm products at low price. Thanks to the farm fresh consumer outlet which has opened at Chintamani complex, Anna Nagar East. The outlet is attracting a huge crowd of people. In the morning and evenings there is a heavy rush buying vegetables. 

Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa recently inaugurated Farm Fresh Consumer Outlets in the city and its suburbs to sell vegetables at reduced rates. Cooperatives Minister, Food Minister, Chief Secretary and other higher officials were present when the Chief Minister opened the vegetable shops. 

The shops are expected to counter inflation in the prices of vegetables, by making them available to consumers at rates lower than general market rates. According to official Government sources farm fresh shops are also opened at Villivakkam, Shenoy Nagar, Choolaimedu and Koyambedu. Varieties of vegetables are sold in these shops at reduced price.
