The old MTC bus shelters in Chennai city are slowly getting replaced with sparkling stainless steel facilities. Chennai Corporation will install new bus shelters in the city with its own funds. According to official Chennai Corporation official sources bus stops in newly added areas of Mogappair and Ambattur are also likely to get new stylish shelters. The spacious bus shelters are very comfortable and have a huge seating capacity. The Corporation helpline is also mentioned at the shelter. At night the shelter is well illuminated.
