Busy Chintamani Junction Awaits Black Topping

The roads at the Chintamani signal junction are battered due to recently undertaken metro water pipe laying work.

A lot of dust is generated by buses plying on the unpaved road. Though the pipe laying work is completed, the road not blacktopped. The road users are subjected to bumpy rides.

Anna Nagar East residents stated that Metro water had recently taken up pipe laying work in their areas. But even after completion, the streets were not blacktopped properly. Residents want the Chennai Corporation to concentrate on black topping roads at Chintamani signal junction and East Anna Nagar. Motorists hope the authorities would re-lay the roads immediately for a smooth drive.
