An awareness road rally was taken by the students and staff of Mary Clubwala Jadhav Special School for the Hearing Impaired at Thirumangalam. The students went around holding placards which highlighted the concepts of rain water harvesting, using solar energy, saving water and electricity, good nutrition, and women welfare.The school students are sent for competitions in sports, drawing, painting and dance during inter-school events and contests organised by the Government. The students have won number of prizes on these occasions.
The school has special educators and trained teachers who attend many workshops and training
