Seminar on Social Security for Elderly Women

Tamil Nadu Senior Citizens Association and the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of Tamil Nadu jointly organizing a Seminar on Social Security of Elderly Women on 24th April 2013.The event was conducted inside the Conference Hall at Natesan Institute of Cooperative Management, located along Shanthi Colony,4th Avenue, Anna Nagar, Chennai. The chief guest for the function was Mr.T.S.Krishnamurthy, Former Chief Election Commissioner of India. Other speakers who address the gathering included, Mr. Mital, Mr.D.N. Chapke, President and Secretary General respectively of All India Confederation of Senior Citizens (AISCCON), Mr.K.Periaiah, IPS, D.I.G. of Police, Dr.Usha MD, Associate Prof of Geriatric Medicine and Ms.A.Ovia, Feminist writer.

A Tamil book titled Mudhumaiyil Inimai written by Dr.P.P.Ramaswami, E.C. member, was released on the occasion. The AGM of the Federation of Senior Citizens Association (FOSCATAN) was also conducted. Tamil Nadu Senior Citizens’ Association is located at Old No V-95, New No-78, 5th Main Road, Anna Nagar,Chennai. A large number of senior citizens benefited from the programme.
