Joy Of Giving Day At Jaigopal Garodia School

Jaigopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya Trust observed the third Anniversary of its Founder Chairman Jaigopal Garodia as ‘Joy of Giving Day’ on 2nd April 2013.In connection with this event, a special assembly was conducted at the premises of JGVV Anna Nagar, JGMHS Kolathur, SDCVV Sakthivel Nagar.  Floral tributes were offered to the portraits of Mr. Garodia by Managing Trustee Ashok Kedia, Trustee Somanathan, Principal, Staff and Students.  

Poor feeding was also organized.  Speaking on the occasion the Trustees recalled the services of the Founder. 

They urged the students to work hard, come up in life, contribute whole heartedly to whatever profession they chose, bring pride, name and fame to their parents and to their institution. 

Similar such programmes were organized at 22 schools which were adopted by Mr. Jaigopal Garodia. There are eight Govt Schools adopted by Jaigopal Garodia Foundation located at Choolaimedu, Madhavaram, Manali New Town, Nanganallur, Ponneri, Saidapet, Thiruvottiyur and Virugambakkam. Mr. Garodia laid special emphasis on women’s education and he had devised special schemes such as a free college Book Bank and Scholarships Centre for College students.
