J-Block Streets Gets A New Look!!

Much to the relief of the residents, a blacktopping was given to 16th and 17th Streets in J-Block which connect 13th Main Road in Anna Nagar West.

. Maintenance of City Roads is one of the challenging and important functions of Corporation of Chennai. In the last few years, various steps were taken for the up gradation of roads in the city. Interactions were held with premier technical institutions in Chennai like I.I.T, Anna University and Highways Research Station to provide world class infrastructure facilities Bus Route Roads Department of the Corporation of Chennai maintains and improves all the Bus Route Roads periodically. 

Apart from periodical relaying of city roads, the patches and potholes arising out of the road cuts are being attended immediately by using hot mix. Park Road in Anna Nagar Western Extension has also been blacktopped. Now days, Thanks to the Chennai Corporation, most of the uneven stretches in Anna Nagar area are getting blacktopped to ensure smooth driving.
