Street Cleaning Drive By Chennai Corporation

Cleaning of roads and removal of debris, waste materials dumped along the road side margins along all bus route roads are regularly done by the civic authorities. Chennai Corporation is cleaning up roads and avenues in and around Anna Nagar area.

Recently Chennai Corporation had launched a drive to clean up the 18th Main Road stretch. The Corporation officials have also decided to take strict action against persons littering on roads.

Conservancy and Sanitary inspectors are regularly inspecting their respective ward. Dumping of waste materials makes the road ugly and causes a health hazard. The garbage’s dumped on roadside is one of the main cause for blocking the drainage facility.
