The open drains at
Ambattur Industrial Estate cause health hazard and air pollution.
The drains need to be
covered with cement blocks immediately. Open drains can be very dangerous as
people can fall in them while walking especially in the night.
Moreover the
open drains are dangerous as they can act as a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
Senior citizens and women have to be careful while walking on the road.
If the concerned
authorities are not able to cover the drain immediately, they should find some
alternative solutions like spraying disinfectants that kill bacteria and
mosquitoes.
