A
section of 3rd Avenue stretch in East Anna Nagar has been temporary
closed in order to facilitate the construction work of a straight diversion
channel at the Otteri Nullah.
Until the work gets completed, motorists
proceeding towards ICF from Anna Nagar Round tana are now diverted through 6th
Avenue and L-Block to reach New Avadi Road.
The work which is undertaken by the
Public Works Department under the JNNURM Scheme is in progress and it is
expected to get completed with a few weeks.
