Traffic movement along 13th Main Road stretch from Shanthi Colony 4th Avenue and 2nd Avenue, Anna Nagar came to a standstill for about half an hour on Tuesday, 5th February 2013 due to a break down of a Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus in the middle of the road.The driver tried to re-start the bus several times, but unfortunately nothing positive happened. Finally it was revealed that the bus had stopped in the middle of the road because it ran out of diesel and not due to any mechanical fault.
The bus plying on route number 47D belongs to Ambattur bus depot. The bus was pushed by the staff and passengers to the side of the road as it was preventing vehicle movement along 13th Main Road.
