As part of R.Ramachandran Birthday Remembrance programme
Dr.C.L.Ramakrishnan, DGP (Retd) presented the Hamsadhwani R.Ramachandran Award
of Excellence to B.Madhavan, Secretary of Madras Sanskrit College on 1st
January 2013 at Youth Hostel premises, Indira Nagar, Adyar. Famous
Bharathanatyam exponent Smt Nandini Ramani spoke on the occasion.
The award
distribution function was followed by a Carnatic and Hindustani vocal
performance by Sriram Parasuram accompanied by Amika Prasad, Trichur Narendran,
Umakanth Puranik, Udayraj Karpur, Sruthi Sagar and R.Prakash. The event was
sponsored by HANRAG Group.
