Krishnamachari,(Managing Director, Textan Chemicals based at 4th Avenue, Ashok
Nagar) donated Rs. 10 lakhs towards National Heart Foundation (12/6, T. S.
Krishna Nagar Extn. Moggapair East on 6th January for the 5th
consecutive years.
He that National Heart Foundation has been providing free
cardiac treatment for poor persons since 2005.Dr. S. Rajan (Founder, National
Heart Foundation and Director, Cardiac Surgery, Institute of Cardiovascular
Disease, MMM Hospital) said that more than 500 persons had benefited so far.He
said that a well equipped bus manned by a 25-member team including more than 10
doctors visits rural areas. Those needing treatment are admitted in the
hospital.
He said that treatments also provided for needy persons listed by
Social Service Department functioning in the hospital.K. Latchumanadhas (Senior
Consultant, Cardiovascular Diseases, Madras Medical Mission) is involved in
