Residents of Kambar Colony are
eagerly waiting for train service to start for Anna Nagar to Beach Railway
Station. Anna Nagar residents hope that for the New Year the Southern Railway officials
would revive its train services from Anna Nagar Railway Station.Between 2003
and 2007, suburban trains were being run from Anna Nagar to Beach via
Villivakkam, Perambur and Royapuram.
State Government can also introduce mini buses
to help commuters access Anna Nagar railway station that is located near Kambar
Colony. Anna Nagar railway station can be also linked with the nearest metro
station to facilitate intermodal connectivity.
