Thirumangalam Overpass Will Be A Boon For Motorists

The flyover at Thirumangalam junction will go a long way in easing congestion and would enable motorists to reach their destination comfortably in time without losing much time in their journey.

Over the last decade, flyovers and underpasses have been constructed at congested intersections at Chennai city. Building a bridge at Thirumangalam will be better for drivers, pedestrians and residents.

The flyover is essential because the Mogappair-Inner Ring Road junction is heavily congested. Movement of traffic through the Jawaharlal Nehru High Road is likely to get smoother once the grade separator being constructed at Thirumangalam is completed.

The flyover is under construction at the intersection of Anna Nagar Second Avenue and Mogappair Road. At present residents of Anna Nagar West Extension, Thirumangalam and Mogappair are going through the ordeal of regular traffic snarls at this junction.
