Following an article published in Anna Nagar Daily, the
civic authorities took appropriate action to cover an open manhole in front
Kendara Vidayalaya School at Central Government quarters, Thirumangalam.
Motorists now need not be worried when they pass through the signal
intersection at Shanthi colony and 100 Feet Road.
Neither do the pedestrians
need to be nervous while passing through the same spot. For the danger has been
averted with the manhole getting covered properly. The concerned authorities
have done a good thing and there is no hindrance to motorists and
pedestrians.
