The Rally was jointly organized by Vepery Jain Sangh and Karuna International as part of valedictory function for the month long Ahimsa Movement.For the last 45 days, several activities were conducted to propagate Non-Violence where in several school children, college students and the society at large have participated.
The movement included activities like Door to Door campaign, exhibitions, C D presentations in college against abortion and competitions at school level - all the above events promoting the values of Ahimsa and Animal welfare.
Lakhs of people participated in the various events during to propagate peace and non-violence.On this occassion school students from various schools also created 20 Rangolis depicting message of Non violence at the Marina Beach.
