The title of Narthana Sironmani was
conferred upon Bharatha Kala Rathnam Sri N.Sasi Kumaran, Director and Guru of
Sri Narthana Ganapathy Natyalaya on Sunday 28th October 2012 at RK
Swamy Hall, Mylapore, Chennai.
5 Students namely, S.Swathika Sri, MN.Pavithra,
MN.Sushitha, M.Madhumitha, L.Barathi and K.Lavanya gave a dance performance on
the occasion. Sri N.Sasi Kumaran teaches Bharathanatyam classes at Sangamam
Fine Arts located at the Tambaram Railway Colony. Sri N.Sasi Kumaran is a
distinguished exponent choreographer. His ability to bring out the best of his
students, has given him an enviable reputation in the performing art circle. He
is also a member of ABHAI (Association of Bharathanatyam Artistes of India).
Sri N.Sasi Kumaran is currently learning higher courses on Nattuvangam and
Bharathanatyam Theory under the guidance of Nirthya Selvar Guru
S.R.Ravichandaran at Melatur style.
