The heavy cyclonic rainfall that lashed the city on 30th
October 2012 caused water logging along several roads in the city. Koyambedu
100 Feet Road stretch especially between CMBT and Koyambedu flyover got severely
water logged.
The water stagnation at Koyambedu caused traffic chaos and
pedestrians were the worst affected. This problem is not something new.
It has
been going on for a long time which causes inconvenience to the road users. Let
the concerned officials take steps to find out a permanent solution to the
water logging problem at Koyambedu.
