AD Block 5th Street Needs Attention

An uneven manhole in the middle of AD Block 5th Street, Anna Nagar West puts motorists to a lot of inconvenience. The sunken manhole cover is not only slowing down vehicle movement, but it is also putting road user’s safety at risk. 

Motorists trying to avoid the spot create an additional danger. The spot has become a traffic hazard for motorists, especially at night while negotiating the manhole. Immediate action is needed by the concerned authorities to fix the problem straight away because thousands of cars and bikes drive on this road every day. It is also reported that along newly blacktopped road surface, the height of the manhole are not increased to the road level.
